John McCain is a mixed bag if there ever was one. He has a mellow and laid back Libra rising—diplomatic and even-keeled, usually, ordinarily—except his ruling planet Venus is in picky, critical and analytical Virgo opposed by Saturn in Pisces. There goes the diplomacy. Saturn oppose Venus is someone who finds it hard to love—he distrusts the very nature of soft, kind and caring. This is one tough veteran who finds it hard to show his vulnerable side. His Mercury in Libra makes him capable of being fair and balanced—but his Sun sign is Virgo—not one of the more appealing to the voter masses that one would like. His sudden return to prominence and frontrunner status was his natal chart has Uranus—sudden and unexpected energy—made a great aspect to Saturn which was conjunct his Sun at the time he made his clawing and digging his way out of what looked like an insurmountable deep abyss—never underestimate John McCain. With this chart, he may be troublesome and irritable, but he comes back from sure defeat with gusto and traction.

His Capricorn Moon is also an ally for him. The Pluto in Cancer opposing his cold and detached Capricorn Moon makes him resilient and scrappy. Don’t forget if you have been reading my Blogs, Jupiter will be in Capricorn at General Election in November. This man looks like he may be there as the Republican candidate—and possibly win the whole enchilada.

McCain has Mars in Leo and it makes a good aspect to his Jupiter in Sagittarius. I never knew he was an athlete as well as a war hero, but this configuration gives him the right stuff to be a jock in whatever sport he would choose. And, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this is the planetary arrangement of actors—and you know what I think of most of those narcissists. Is John McCain acting or can he deliver? His Virgo planets tone him down and make him sweat b-b’s to win his place in the presidential Sun.

His progressed chart has the same conflict for victory as Clinton’s and Obama’s—a Void of Course progressed Moon at 29 degrees of Virgo—not good. His Progressed Venus in Sagittarius is squared by his progressed Neptune in Virgo. Not good. I find it fascinating that his progressed Sun and Mercury are in Scorpio, where Clinton’s are in her natal chart. Fascinating. But his progressed Saturn in Pisces is conjunct transiting Uranus in good aspect to his progressed Sun and Mercury in Scorpio. This could be a lightning rod aspect. But another configuration is his progressed Moon in Virgo is being squared (not good) by progressed Jupiter in Sagittarius. This portends, possibly, over-optimism on McCain’s part.

Up and until election night, there are a lot of positives for Senator McCain. At this juncture it looks like a lock for the nomination, but I am keeping the hopes alive for Mitt Romney. I am not doing any work on Hucklebuckleby for the obvious fact that he will never win the nomination, chart or no chart assessment. The country is poised for healing not more religious demagoguery.

It’s looking good for you in this race, Senator John McCain. Although I have never met the senator, he vacations around Sedona and is our senator in Washington. I wanted to say that this has nothing to do with astrological answer to the question, however.

Albert studied with renowned astrology Byrd Knapp, Darrell Harris and Katharine de Jersey, as well as took Awareness Classes with Lee Jones at the Spiritualist Church in Los Angeles in the 70's, and attended the Corrado Academy of Perception in 1978 which led to his meeting actor John Travolta using the tools of manifestation learned at the Academy, and selling John El Adobe de Tajiguas, a 35-acre estate that abutted Ronald Reagan's ranch near Gaviota Beach in Southern California.

Gaulden worked in 1986 with international-best selling author of The Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield in Albert's innovative and one-of-a-kind personal empowerment program, the Sedona Intensive, which he founded in 1982. Albert was hired to use his gifts as an astro-intuitive to help cast Redfield's movie of The Celestine Prophecy.

Gaulden travels the world to teach and speak and finds Egypt particularly one of the most intriguing countries in the world.
