Will the United States ever seek the high moral ground again?

Let’s take a closer look…

united-states-of-america-natal-chart.jpeg

The United States was born on July 4, 1776 in Philadelphia, PA at 2:13 a.m.

Our country’s birth chart has 07 degrees of Gemini rising, or ascending, with Uranus and Mars both in the First House in Gemini. Gemini is known to talk out of both sides of its mouth and tries to be all things to all people. If the latter statement is not true about the USA I’ll put in with you. We absolutely are known as the ‘go-to’ country if some nation needs foreign aid. We do this to our own detriment. We are in such dire financial straits that we had better start reducing our debt load or we are going to be in a heap of trouble, even more so that we are now.

We have four planets in Cancer: Venus at 2 degrees, Jupiter at 4 degrees, the Sun at 12 degrees and Mercury at 24 degrees in the sign of the Crab. If you don’t want to hear what I have to say about this stellium (three of more planets in one sign—never a good thing) in Cancer, stop reading. Cancer is one of the most nurturing and caring signs in the entire Zodiac—no one will take care of you like a Cancerian—no one! And no sign is more controlling than Cancer either. We in the US are giveaway artists, but we also act as if we rule the world; that we can invade another country without recrimination.

For those of you who read my articles know that I have been warning us Americans for months about Pluto going from Sagittarius into Capricorn, which means ‘pay-day someday’ as the old Baptist preacher used to warn us in Alabama—‘ya gonna get yours,’ he would scream and scare us to death.

Here is what is coming: Pluto is already making an opposition to our Venus in Cancer. Venus is about love or money. Everybody in the world hates us for trying to tell the world what to do, and we have been giving foreign aid even to our enemies. Our natal Venus being opposed by transiting Pluto in Capricorn is the loss of favor we are experiencing in the world, the devaluation of the dollar against every other currency on the planet, as well as inflation here in our own country. Soon interest rates will go through the ceiling—one banker told us this week that in two years the interest rates will be as high as they were during the Carter administration. Remember that peanut farmer from Georgia—yeah him! Interest rates in the late 70s hit 18%!

The question I posed today was could we find the moral high ground again, and since I always talk about what an optimist I am, I can saying resoundingly, “Yes!” The United States of America was born with Jupiter conjunct our Venus and Mercury and Sun—Jupiter with personal planets is the most blessed planetary combination anyone or any country can have. Anything and everything can turn around for us, particularly with Jupiter helping the makeover.

How can the moral high ground become where we rebuild our good will and repair our financial structure? We must get out of Iraq and refuse to invade Iran, stop rattling the swords at North Korea and cease to bully China. We must look at greed in the face and see how we have done our part to create this flotsam of self-destructive spending and caring only about the selfish self. There may be gross malfeasance on Wall Street and in the banks but we have done our part by wanting to have what we want and the rest of the world ‘be damned’. We must be sacrifices for a long time, collectively and individually—we must monitor how we as a nation spend money and start paying down debt.

Spending as we have is immoral. Invading countries is immoral and the notion that it’s all about us is amoral. To begin to return to the great nation that we really are (remember I wrote a book titled You’re Not Who You Think You Are—so even our country is not who she thinks she is—think about that!) we must get on our knees to a Power Greater than Ourselves—we must pray for guidance and not be afraid to roll up our sleeves and go to work—do the grungy hard tasks that can restore us to spiritual, emotional, mental and financial wellbeing. I write and teach and speak about the Ego—easing God out—of our lives. Live by the lying, cheating, selfish and self-centered dictates of the Ego and perish by such human potential betrayal. Fear must be replaced with faith; anger must morph into compassion for us and others.

My optimism has astrological validation. Our progressed Saturn at 3 degrees of Scorpio—the Phoenix rising from the ashes placement—is brilliantly aspected to our progressed Sun at 2 degrees of Pisces. Not only can we survive but we can thrive with new vision and a sense of interrelatedness and interconnectedness. But we must change our behavior and we must look to the greater good for our nation and the world.

Our progressed Moon is going through Leo—the actor, the child within each of us and the speculative nature—which means that we can recreate our perception of reality and we can build again with the fiber and fabric that we used in 1776. It all depends on how we pull together.

God bless America.

He is AUTHOR OF Clearing for the Millennium, Signs and Wonders-Understanding the language of God and You're Not Who You Think You Are-A Breakthrough Guide to Discover your Authentic Self will be published by Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster in December of this year.

A member of the National Association of Transpersonal Psychology and the American Federation of Astrologers, Gaulden founded the Sedona Intensive, a personal growth and empowerment program, to help clients retrieve their authentic selves and tap into their inner power.

Gaulden coined the term astroanalysis-a combination of Jungian psychology and astrology-to describe how he helps free clients from compulsions, addictions, and unresolved issues, which keep them from living a life of peace and joy.

Albert saw things others didn't and heard what they couldn't from the age of two. When he was five he asked his mother why she seemed more like his dad and his dad more like the mother. As a pre-schooler he was tuned into the rich world of intuition and past lives even though he had no one to shepherd him through these recollections and recalls. At Birmingham-Southern he click connected with the unique psychological work and world of Swiss psychoanalyst, Dr. Carl Jung and his take on the shadow self. Gaulden believes that all-seeing and all-knowing is born within a child and it is the false and mundane world that erases his memory of what is really true. The integration of the divided self, putting one back together through a conscious fusion with his or her shadow is the underpinning of his work in the Sedona Intensive.

Albert studied with renowned astrology Byrd Knapp, Darrell Harris and Katharine de Jersey, as well as took Awareness Classes with Lee Jones at the Spiritualist Church in Los Angeles in the 70's, and attended the Corrado Academy of Perception in 1978 which led to his meeting actor John Travolta using the tools of manifestation learned at the Academy, and selling John El Adobe de Tajiguas, a 35-acre estate that abutted Ronald Reagan's ranch near Gaviota Beach in Southern California.

Gaulden worked in 1986 with international-best selling author of The Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield in Albert's innovative and one-of-a-kind personal empowerment program, the Sedona Intensive, which he founded in 1982. Albert was hired to use his gifts as an astro-intuitive to help cast Redfield's movie of The Celestine Prophecy.

Gaulden travels the world to teach and speak and finds Egypt particularly one of the most intriguing countries in the world. In December he will be returning with a tour group of clients and friends to the Land of the Nile and Pharaohs and the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Sphinx and other ancient digs and monuments in Upper and Lower Egypt.

His clients include sports figures, actors, royalty, Wall Street executives, men and women and young people from all walks of life who are eager to face those defects of character that keep them from being who they really are. He rigorously maintains the anonymity of his clients.

Additionally, Gaulden is a motivational speaker on such popular themes as "Mr. Right is Usually Mr. Wrong-Falling in Love With Make-Believe", "Take Your Power Back", "The Power of a Great Idea", the Death of Terror and the Rebirth of Bliss, "Why Relationships Don't Work but How They Can" and many other provocative topics.
