Let’s take a closer look…

  George W. Bush was born on July 6, 1946 at 7:26 am in New Haven, Connecticut.

With Leo rising, or ascending, in His Majesty’s chart…I mean Commander-in-Chief’s astrological profile, also with Mercury (how he thinks), Pluto (power or need to eliminate) and Venus (for love or money) in Leo as well, this President feels in every bone of his body that he was born to rule, not lead. Leos have the hardest time of all the signs (except maybe Aries—take Aries, please!) with EGO: Easing God Out. Unfortunately when George’s ego gets in the way of the Oath of Office and he reigns with an iron fist, the world suffers.

Bush has the planets, Sun and Saturn in Cancer which reveals that he can be nurturing (I haven’t seen it—but what do I know? I have only been looking at sky maps for more than 43 years. You do the math), but he is more controlling. Since the sign Cancer rules Momma-hood—don’t you think that Bush might think he’s our Mommy, and tells us what to do whether we want to do it or not? He certainly went to war when most of us didn’t want war. (Don’t forget that Hillary voted for the war and her vote can not be explained away nor can her Spin Doctors let her off the hook). The real problem with his birth chart and all the planets either cooperating with each other or fighting is that he has contrarian planets that do not allow him to lead our country. He has Neptune (deceiver), Chiron (his Achilles’ heel), Moon (emotions) and Jupiter (expansions) all in Libra squaring his Sun/Saturn in Cancer. Libras think they are diplomats and capable of bringing peace to the table, but with his afflictions he brings disharmony instead. George W. Bush also cannot make up his mind. Libras rarely are able to act quickly enough to bring resolution. Bush has shown a lot of vacillation throughout both terms.

The President also has Mars in Virgo—he is picky, critical and analytical—and Saturn is conjuncting his Mars now and will for several months. He is inert and cannot get any momentum to accomplish anything. Although I can be as critical as anyone of how badly he has administrated and guided our country, I feel sad for him because he has become even more of a buffoon now than at any time in his presidency. His malapropos and ignorant and laughable non sequiturs and dim bulbs of intelligence are one thing, but he has no idea how to bring the country together, to solve economic crises, to end the war and stay out of other nation’s neighbors, to heal bad blood between countries who perceive us as invaders and bullies and he is unable to make us feel better about being an American. To add to his misfortunate stars, his Progressed Moon will oppose his natal Sun in two months—more outcome for President Bush—and again, not so pleasant.

With any luck and sound advisors, if we are lucky, he will go to Crawford, Texas when his term of office ends and ride away into the sunset of what was once the largest state in these United States. But the damage he has done will take many presidents a long time to repair. God bless America and God have mercy on our souls.

Addendum: I wanted to add this because I have become so frustrated with the general insanity that has been raining on us for many long and frustrating months. See if you can identify.

I have heard the last nonsense about Barack Obama and that preacher of his that I can stomach. Did any of you ever go to church in the South? A black church anywhere? I grew up on uneducated blowhards spewing fire and brimstone from the pulpit in Birmingham, Alabama. Before you get too pie-in-the-sky about John McCain or Hillary Clinton using all of their foolishness and spin to get your vote, study a bit of African-American culture and how they worship. I have spoken in a number of black churches and I can tell you it beat any white church I ever suffered through. They rock and roll and "amen" every five seconds—they stand and shout—it is a joyful experience.  Have you ever watched TBN—Trinity Broadcast Network? Now if that tribe of eye-rollers and reach-upward-for-Jesus doesn’t stop the clock, I’ll put in with you. Yes, the same Christian Broadcast started by Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker.

How about Nancy Grace? Have you checked her out lately? Nancy and bloodcurdling rants against anybody who might be suspected of a crime gives me a double Excedrin headache. Sean Hannity or Bill O’Reilly? Give me a break. This country is in a deep depression and can’t stop jumping rope about anything, especially who we want for President of the United States. For weeks Barack Obama was beating Hillary by ten or more percentage points. Today she’s up by 7 percentage points, all attributed to Barack Obama’s preacher ranting and raving and cursing the United States. Listen what one talking head said, “Ain’t you ever thought or said the same thing?” Of course, we have. God, what a yo-yo brain our collective consciousness has turned out to be.

Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico and former Ambassador to the United Nations (and a Bill Clinton appointee) yesterday slammed the Hillary Clinton campaign for gutter politics. He went on to say that James Carville, one of the progenitors of the War Room of Bill Clinton and now the switchblade and terminator for Hillary, on Easter Sunday compared Richardson to Judas, who betrayed Christ for 30 pieces of silver. Now that is gutter politics. Just like Bill Clinton said in a rally for Hillary in North Carolina that the country had two candidates who were patriots, Hillary and McCain. How low and reprehensible can the Clintons get? Stay tuned.

The stock market dives and we want to blame someone else. Subprime bites us and we boo-hoo-hoo to anybody who would listen. What happened to the old adage, “if it’s too good to be true, it ain’t true”?

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, it is time to take a deep breath, go into a quiet and sacred place and ask God what you can do to make this nation, this planet, better than it is today. What did John F. Kennedy implore us in his inauguration speech in 1961? “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Albert studied with renowned astrology Byrd Knapp, Darrell Harris and Katharine de Jersey, as well as took Awareness Classes with Lee Jones at the Spiritualist Church in Los Angeles in the 70's, and attended the Corrado Academy of Perception in 1978 which led to his meeting actor John Travolta using the tools of manifestation learned at the Academy, and selling John El Adobe de Tajiguas, a 35-acre estate that abutted Ronald Reagan's ranch near Gaviota Beach in Southern California.
